I believe we should do this in order of size. First we should do the grading, planets, then quests, item shops, races, and techs last. Assuming I'm not missing anything this , I believe, would be the ideal order to rebuild the site.

The Items Shops aren't very bad off. We can live with them for now.

We should at least get rid of the rare candy and maybe integrate orans shop into the main shop.

But first off is the grading system. So who has ideas?

I think we should go Word count/4 x1.5+3000

or something similar so people will have to post a good amount to get any real benifits

I remember that Alex had a really good grading system that the more you wrote the better the reward. Let me see if I can find it

We can make rare candy only obtainable to certain people. Say, 300+ Posts, been in at least one saga, AND the price. As for Oran's shop, I think it should stay, but be placed on Orrun.

On that note; well were waiting for the grading system to be finalized I will be fixing the L. Namekian race until we get to fixing/deciding the races. On a serious note: The races power boosts are just silly as is -_-

Since no one seems to be doing something I have a possible grading system, its probably not that good but its better than the other suggestions seeing how there are none!
1/2 * Amount of Words.
An example of this is:

(500 word post)
1/2*500= 250

Yeeaahh... its not that good :/

Why does word count alone represent the value of a roleplay?

Teh dogg jumped ovver the river to catch deh ball dat bounced over it to the otther sied of the riverr.

(Is determined to be greater than the following by the WC grading method.)

The determined canine launched itself over the river to retrieve the bouncing red ball which was flung in that direction.

We could include a bonus based on the quality. That would also make it more fair for the people who are really contributing in a multi person thread. Anyway i can see where you're coming from and can agree with it. We could probably also throw in penalty for lack of grammer checks or spelling mistakes. Overall the grading system does need balancing but having it based on the word count is ok for short-term use until we can finalize the system.

Words:400
Quality:⁸/₁₀
Spelling:⁷/_{10[/sup]
7x10=70
8x10=80
80+70=130
400+130=530
530x10=5,300 all stats.

Battle System or Group System
Gag's Posting:10
Quality:⁵/[sub]10}
Spelling:¹⁰/₁₀
5x10=50
10x10=100
100+50=150
10x10=10
150+10=160
160x10=1600
The second one was a first try.

I think that the word count should be a multiplier for how much you get while the quality of the roleplay is what gives you the base points to be multiplied
